The
old barn of Villa Ceppeto lies on a 17.30 acres (70.000 sq.meters)
private property located on the boarder of Chianti: there are
beautiful walks and mountain bike trails through 700 olive trees,
woods and fields of irises.
There is even a little pond to rest by under the shade of the
Italian Poplars.
The barn has been reconstructed and from June 2004 we are able
to welcome guests: we are very proud of the result!
The house is situated in a quiet pleasant place and it is also
in a perfect location to visit some of the most beautiful places
in Tuscany:
Villa
Ceppeto is approx. 1.640 ft. (500 m.) high in the Commune of
Monte San Savino, located in the province of Arezzo. Monte San
Savino is a romantic Medieval walled city which has less than
9,000 inhabitants.
The town is a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive from the apartment
where you can find stores, local craft shops, restaurants and
super markets. The town market is open every Wednesday in the
central square. Every evening in the summer, there are theatre
productions at the open air amphitheatre and the winter evenings
offer all types of plays at the ancient theatre.
